Here you can find compositions and arrangements published by me at Clara's Heart Music Press. CHMP is my self-publishing company. My name is just so darn common I wanted a unique identifier for my music.

Sonata Duodecima by Isabella Leonarda Arranged for Soprano Saxophone and Piano
Sonata Duodecima by Isabella Leonarda from Sonate à 1.2.3. e 4. Istromenti, Op. 16
Arrangement for Soprano Saxophone and Piano by Michael Davis
At the age of 16, Isabella Leonarda (1620-1703) joined an Ursuline convent in Novara, Italy where she lived until her death. She was a prolific composer with over 200 works credited to her name, most of which were sacred vocal works. In 1693, Leonarda published a collection of twelve sonatas, the Sonate à 1.2.3. e 4. Istromenti, becoming the first woman to publish instrumental sonatas. The collection contains eleven trio sonatas (for violins and continuo), and one solo sonata (for violin and continuo). Sonata Duodecima refers to the twelfth sonata from the collection, which is the one for solo violin and continuo.

The OSRS Lo-Fi Jams series is inspired by my favorite game: Old School RuneScape. Each jam is inspired by something specific from OSRS. Lo-fi music aesthetics correspond to many of my favorite things about OSRS. It is filled with repetitive or meditative patterns, enjoyment can be experienced without perfection, there is ample opportunity for creative freedom, and there is far more depth to be discovered than the casual observer likely imagines is possible. The jams are meant to be fun for the performer and allow for creative freedom within the composition’s given restrictions. Imperfections are accepted. Prioritize enjoying your instrument and the music.
Bankstanding is for flexible instrumentation but was composed with the solo alto saxophone in mind as the performing force. It may be performed on any instrument or instruments. Octave transposition to play in a comfortable range is encouraged. Repeats are performed as many times as desired by the performer. When performed by multiple musicians, each musician chooses their own repeat structure. Minimums and maximums for duration and instrumentation can be seen below, but it is highly recommended to stay close to either the minimum or suggested duration and instrumentation rather than the maximum. Articulations are performed at the discretion of the individual performer. Suggested articulations are provided by dashed slur lines. If desired, a performer may insert quarter rests to breathe. Rhythmic flexibility within the beat is encouraged but avoid disrupting the pulse.
Possible Duration: 1 minute 19 seconds – 6 hours
Suggested Duration: 3 minutes
Possible Instrumentation: 1 musician – 2000 musicians
Suggested Instrumentation: 1 musician
