Dr. Michael Davis is a performer, educator, and composer specializing in classical saxophone based out of Denton, TX. Michael has performed throughout the United States, including conference performances at the United States Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium, North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial and Regional Conferences, and the American Single Reed Summit.
Michael earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in saxophone performance with a related field in performing arts health in 2020 from the University of North Texas, a Master of Music degree in saxophone performance with a related field in music theory in 2017 from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Music degree in saxophone performance in 2016 from the University of Iowa. Michael currently teaches private music lessons to a large private studio of exceptional students and serves as an adjunct fine arts instructor providing online woodwind lessons at East Central Community College in while pursuing a rewarding creative career performing, composing, and arranging. |
